Catch Up...

What's a couple of months off the blog worth? I'll tell you...

A lightening strike takes out the modem, several filters and the ethernet card. Newborn takes out the drive to get anything done quickly!
Hysterectomy 2 months post c-section. Not recommended, but certainly recoverable! (Otherwise known as "Thank you, God, for giving me a baby that sleeps!")
Lost camera. Big bad bummer is that it absolutely has to be in this house somewhere... have you seen it? I'm pretty sure it's grown legs. Hubby got me an upgrade for my birthday - isn't he sweet?!! Too bad baby A's baptism pictures are on the lost card.

According to the weatherman, in Oklahoma we're officially out of the drought. The small pond that is our driveway gave us our first clue.

Gravity Happens

My little princess spun herself into a door frame! Poor thing hit so hard that when I picked her up off the floor, there was nothing but a dent from her temple to the middle of her cheek. This picture was taken about 1/2 an hour later.


Princess Mulan was plum tuckered out from her exploits, but had just enough energy to drag herself up to the forbidden top bunk for a snooze! As this had not been attempted before, I can only assume the whack to the head is to blame!



Yesterday was better, the girls enjoyed themselves outside with Daddy! A has really become responsive in the last week. She looks us in the eye, searches for her sister and smiles when we kiss her! Please note E's response below!

Time Flies

Our Little A is Four Weeks Old!
So now she's all smiles! She can hold her head up and has gotten over her grouchies despite a cold. She seems to have decided we're not so bad after all and this could be kinda fun - we can be entertaining after all! She's also gained more than 2 pounds since she's been home... check out her little belly! The night before last, she grabbed my shirt with both hands. It was the first time she held me back. A's looking in our eyes, checking out her world and even handling diaper changes without a whimper! What a month!

So, naturally Mom had to take some cute little naked baby pictures to commemorate the event!

Yep, we're in love!
